The disadvantage with Hepsia is the lack of root access to the dedicated hosting server, but you will promptly enjoy the user-friendliness of Hepsia's point and click File Manager in return.

Control Panel 1 - The Hepsia hosting CP is a typical equipment only in combination with the Debian Linux Operating System and is supplied without charge. With Hepsia you can host unmetered domain names under one web hosting user account. This is accomplishable because of Hepsia's efficient Domain Manager tool. The other hosting CP devices, i.e. cPanel and DirectAdmin, are available solely in combination with CentOS. As opposed to Hepsia, with them you must use TWO autonomous logins. This is so, because cPanel and DirectAdmin do not supply any domain registration/transfer/management services. If you opt for Ubuntu as an Operating System for your dedicated hosting server, there will be no hosting Control Panel choice.
Hosted Hostnames 2 - unlimited domains can be hosted with all available web hosting Control Panel tools, but only with Hepsia you can register/transfer/administer your domains in a single web hosting account. Sadly, the cPanel/DirectAdmin hosting Control Panel setups do not supply such functionality at all - there is no Domain Manager menu and as a consequence they call for 2 different logins: one domain name administration/billing/support user account and one site administration account (i.e. the actual cPanel/DirectAdmin hosting Control Panel).
Operating System (OS) 3 - you will observe that the Hepsia hosting Control Panel can work with Debian Linux only. It's free of cost to install it on your dedicated hosting server. Hepsia is not offered with CentOS or Ubuntu. The cPanel and DirectAdmin hosting CP devices can operate solely with the CentOS OS. Neither of them is available with Debian or Ubuntu.
